What is a FiveM weapon pack?

A FiveM weapon pack changes GTA V weapons on the player side. There are two kinds: the weapon replace, which swaps weapon textures for reworked versions, and the weapon sound pack, which swaps gunfire sounds for more realistic ones.

Both kinds are independent: install a replace, a sound pack, or both. They also work alongside a Hiromasa graphics pack, which changes lighting and atmosphere, not weapons.

Each pack has its own page with the video, version details and download link. Sound packs are installed with OpenIV, with a dedicated tutorial on the site.

What is the difference between a weapon replace and a weapon sound pack?

A replace changes how weapons look (textures). A sound pack only changes gunfire sounds. They are independent and can be installed together.

These are player-side changes, but each server sets its own rules. Some servers enable FiveM pure mode or ban weapon mods: check your server rules before installing.

Can I use a weapon pack with a graphics pack?

Yes. A graphics pack changes lighting and atmosphere, a weapon pack changes weapons: they work together without conflict.
